Tirgwynt Wind Farm is located near Welshpool in Powys, Wales. This project has been operating since November 2016. The project's community benefit fund was capitalisaed upfront and contributed funding for the building of Ysgol Carno, saving the school from closure. The project is part of the Belltown Education Programme which runs educational workshops on climate change at local primary schools. An extensive habitat management plan is in place to restore and enhance surrounding habitats.
