Belltown launches 5 solar consultations

Belltown has finalised and submitted planning applications for 5 of its solar farms following consultations held in March / April 2025. The projects, Haxted Mead, Hooper's Pool, Hob Lane, Mount Pleasant, and Oldbridge are all located in England, are below 50MWac, and will be determined by each of their respective Local Planning Authorities. Planning determinations are expected end of 2025 / early 2026. 

Public consultations were held in March / April 2025, during which we received feedback on our proposals from the local communities and residents, which, following a period of review, have been incorporated into the applications submitted. We want to thank all participants for attending the events and sharing their valuable feedback. We will continue to consult with local stakeholders throughout the planning application process and take on any feedback received. 

If approved these sites would generate enough energy to power 79,000 homes and displace over 115,000 tCO2e.
